In Sparkling 3D!!!
I've been trying to figure out my style of photography. I've been wanting to turn commercial (i.e. somehow coax money from people so I can pay for this addiction called photography) I've thought about fashion. It looks kinda fun to shoot and it seems to be everywhere and you don't have to be dead to be appreciated. I was reading an article/blog from a fashion photographer and she talks about how a lot of photographers who want to turn fashion forget that it's about the clothes and need to actually learn the different looks. It really made me think. I'm not a big fan of clothes. If a girl is cute, a towel makes her look hot, if she isn't cute, oh well. I don't know all the latest trends. I do have a fashiony shoot planned for March, but I'm going to make that a bit more artsy than fashiony so me and the clothing designer get some shots we can be proud of. It's in a remote location with no power. So me, camera gear, reflectors, and models. Just the way I like it!
I'm working on getting my photographs published. Looks like there's a small local art publication that likes my stuff. So stay tuned for more info. I think I can get more art showings, but it's so expensive making prints. I've sold a decent amount of work, but compared to the print and framing for all of my work, I've lost money. Art sales are really about publicity. The reason artists sell more when they're dead is the publicity of a death, especially suicide. Unfortunately, that defeats the getting money so I can shoot more thing. If you've ever seen Great Expectations, the movie, Ethan Hawk's character when talking to reporter from the paper starts making up stories for his bio. It's all about publicity. That's why I started this blog.
In other news, I got my store setup finally! Click on the 'Store' button in the top menu above and buy some prints. If you have any recommendations for work I haven't posted there that you would like to see, feel free to send me an email.
The last blog I wrote: Caught in My Net had some photos from a group shoot. Attached is some more photos from that shoot. They are of Shauntia. We only shot for 5 or 10 minutes and we got some pretty good shots. I'm going to be working with her in the future and she's done a lot of shoots so I'm trying to think of something unique. Until then, here are some photos. Ooh and the last one actually is in 3D, so put on your red and blue 3D glasses 'cause you don't want to miss a hot naked girl popping off your screen.

This shot makes me think of the 70's
